Associate (Compliance & Risk)

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and obligations.

• Support compliance monitoring programmes, internal controls reviews, and regulatory reporting.

• Monitor compliance deadlines and proactively follow up on action items.

• Aid in maintaining compliance registers and staff declarations, including conflicts of interest and related compliance records.

• Participate in onboarding and ongoing due diligence reviews for stakeholders.

• Support AML/CFT reviews and maintenance of documentation related to compliance.

• Assist with policy updates, document reviews, and governance matters.

• Coordinate with service providers such as fund administrators and auditors when needed.

• Contribute to internal coordination across departments to ensure compliance matters are addressed promptly.

• Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality, handling ad hoc compliance and operational projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or relevant fields.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, legal, audit, governance, or financial services preferred.

• Strong academic achievements and relevant internship experience will be considered advantageous.

• Basic understanding of asset management or fund management is beneficial.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
