This role will own corporate financing strategy across the platform, spanning both equity and debt, while leading financial modelling, underwriting, and project-level structuring. The position sits at the intersection of investment, development, and capital markets, requiring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Strategy & Financing

• Lead and execute equity and debt financing across projects and the broader platform

• Develop and refine capital structure strategies aligned with shareholder objectives

• Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial partners

Project Finance & Structuring

• Lead structuring of project-level financings (including non-recourse / limited recourse debt)

• Ensure projects are bankable through appropriate risk allocation and financial structuring

• Support negotiations with lenders, advisors, and counterparties

Financial Modelling & Underwriting

• Oversee development and review of complex financial models

• Lead investment analysis, scenario modelling, and return optimisation

• Translate operational and commercial assumptions into robust financial frameworks

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior leadership and the board on financing strategy and key transactions

• Partner closely with development, commercial, and investment teams

• Present investment cases and financing strategies to internal and external stakeholders

Execution & Leadership

• Drive end-to-end transaction execution in a lean team environment

• Establish best practices across corporate finance processes and governance

• Support scaling of the platform’s capital function over time

Cash Management & Post-Funding Oversight

• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning at project and platform level

• Work with finance/treasury teams on working capital management, banking relationships and funding deployment

• Monitor utilisation of financing proceeds against approved budgets and funding structures

• Track project performance vs financial model and budget assumptions

• Identify financial risks, covenant pressures and performance gaps, and support corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with financing agreements, covenants and reporting requirements post financial close
