Sales and Logistics Assistant

Join a dynamic team as an Import/Export Coordinator, where you will be pivotal in managing shipping documentation and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage necessary shipping documents for imports, monitoring shipments, and ensuring receipt of documentation.

• Prepare monthly quotations for export shipments and ensure all direct shipment documentation is complete.

• Liaise with freight forwarders to book containers, check vessel schedules, and coordinate container trucking.

• Conduct data entry tasks using an in-house system.

• Undertake various ad-hoc and administrative duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in logistics and import/export operations, including knowledge of Incoterms, Bills of Lading, Invoices, and Packing Lists.

• Proven experience in handling and verifying shipping documents and liaising with freight forwarders or logistics service providers.

• Strong administrative skills and proficiency in data entry.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Preferred experience with import/export operations, particularly in sea freight and container arrangements.

• Familiarity with vessel schedules, shipment coordination, and preparing quotations for shipments.

• Experience using ERP or in-house systems is an advantage.
