Procurement Engineer

We are a Korean MNC construction and engineering corporation looking for one Procurement Engineer to support our Singapore MRT project site.

The job responsibilities are as follow.

• Oversee the purchase of technical equipment for construction site operations.
• Work with the design team to determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications and source for related vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing agreements and prepare award contracts for vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and maintain schedule of equipment and ensure that equipment supply and stock are able to complete project on time and within budget.

The job requirements are as follow.

• Experience with LTA projects are an advantage.
• Experience in negotiation with vendors and suppliers are an advantage.
• Good record-keeping skills and experience in maintaining good communication between associates, clients, suppliers and authorities.
• Good team player.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction-related fields, Supply Chain Management or Engineering-related fields or Business-related fields.
