Construction Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily operations on-site for our construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with building codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and lead construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople on-site.

· Plan and assign tasks according to project schedules and blueprints.

· Ensure adherence to safety regulations (WSH Act) and company policies.

· Monitor work progress, quality control, and material usage.

· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues.

· Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

· Maintain accurate daily reports (e.g., manpower, progress, incidents).

Requirements

· Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a foreman in Singapore’s construction industry (high-rise, civil, or industrial projects preferred).

· Skills:

• Proficient in reading construction drawings and schedules.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of local safety standards (e.g., SCDF, BCA, MOM).

· Certifications:

• Valid BCA Supervisory Training Record (STR) or equivalent.
• WSH certifications (e.g., Supervisor Safety Course) are a plus.

· Others:

• Ability to communicate in English (additional languages like Mandarin/Malay are advantageous).
• Physically fit for on-site work.

Salary & Benefits

· Basic Salary: SGD 3,500 – 5,000/month (commensurate with experience).
