Staff Nurse

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create daily patient consultation schedules, facilitating smooth clinic operations.

• Prepare patients for consultations, which includes blood collection and coordinating laboratory investigations.

• Trace investigation and laboratory results for timely patient reviews, aiming to reduce waiting times.

• Administer prescribed treatments, including chemotherapy, following clinical protocols and safety guidelines.

• Dispense medications and educate patients based on physician instructions.

• Provide nursing care, support, and counseling to patients during treatment as needed.

• Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals, and follow-up care.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications and medical supplies, assisting with reordering as necessary.

• Facilitate preventive maintenance and servicing of medical equipment in collaboration with external vendors.

• Ensure accurate nursing documentation, adhering to regulatory and infection control requirements.

• Offer financial counseling to patients and caregivers regarding treatment costs, payment options, and insurance matters.

• Participate in after-hours patient support on a rotational basis as required.

• Provide additional administrative and operational support to the clinic when necessary.

• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervising medical personnel.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid registration from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

• A minimum of 3-4 years of nursing experience; experience in oncology is advantageous.

• Proficient in patient education and venepuncture.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Compassionate, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
