Sports Product Sales & Training Intern

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Sports Product Sales & Training Intern to support sporting product development, procurement, e-commerce operations, and support sports training programmes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in product management, online sales, coaching support, athlete engagement, and business operations within the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sports Training & Coaching Support

• Assist coaches in conducting sports training programmes, clinics, and events.
• Support the preparation and setup of training equipment and venues.
• Monitor participant attendance and training records.
• Assist in conducting basic skills demonstrations and coaching activities under supervision.
• Provide customer service and support to athletes, students, and parents.
• Gather participant feedback to support programme improvements.

Product Development & Research

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and consumer preferences.
• Gather feedback from athletes and customers to support product improvement initiatives.
• Assist in product testing and evaluation.

E-Commerce & Online Sales

• Assist in managing online sales channels and e-commerce platforms.
• Upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images.
• Monitor online orders and coordinate fulfilment activities.
• Analyse online sales performance and customer purchasing trends.
• Support digital marketing campaigns and online promotions.
• Assist with customer enquiries and after-sales support.

Inventory & Operations

• Support purchasing activities and inventory replenishment planning.Assist in inventory tracking and stock management.
• Monitor stock levels and support demand forecasting activities.
• Help coordinate product deliveries and fulfilment operations.
• Maintain accurate product and inventory records.

Marketing & Commercial Support

• Assist in creating content for social media, websites, and e-commerce platforms.
• Support product launches, training programmes, and promotional events.
• Participate in sports events, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.
• Assist in developing marketing materials and athlete engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, or related fields.
• Passion for sports, coaching, and sporting products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital tools.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sports participation, coaching, or officiating.
• Interest in sporting products, apparel, and athlete development.
• Familiarity with social media, e-commerce platforms, and AI tools.
