Associate (Aviation Finance)

Faststream Recruitment is pleased to be representing a premier Tier 1 law firm with a market-leading Aviation Finance and Banking & Finance practice, advising on some of the region's most significant and complex transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Singapore-qualified lawyer with an interest in banking, finance, and aviation to work alongside renowned partners on complex financing transactions involving airlines, lessors, financial institutions, export credit agencies, and investors across Asia and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of aviation finance and banking transactions, including aircraft acquisitions, leasing, refinancing, structured finance, and asset-backed financing matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing, security, leasing, and transactional documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence and support transaction execution from inception to completion.
• Liaise with clients, financial institutions, airlines, lessors, regulators, and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support partners on complex cross-border financing transactions and regulatory matters.
• Monitor legal and market developments within the banking, finance, and aviation sectors.
• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice.

Requirements

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with approximately 1–5 years' PQE.
• Experience in Banking & Finance, Asset Finance, Aviation Finance, or related transactional practices will be advantageous.
• Candidates with general finance experience and a strong interest in developing a career within Aviation Finance are encouraged to apply.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and transaction management skills.
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail.
