Medical Equipment Support Assistant

Job Scope

• Support the processing and preparation of medical instruments and equipment for operational use
• Perform cleaning, washing, inspection, packing, and sterilization duties according to established procedures
• Assist with sorting and assembling instruments and equipment based on operational checklists
• Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of medical supplies and instruments
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock management activities
• Assist with routine operational duties and other assignments as required by the supervisor
• Work across different operational stations within the department as assigned
• Handle and transport medical tools, kits, and equipment when required

Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare is advantageous but not necessary
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Able to follow standard operating procedures and workplace guidelines consistently
