Senior Plant Engineer

Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport Provided)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Salary Range: $4,200 – $5,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Plant Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) to support plant operations, maintenance, and engineering improvement works in a chemical process environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong in PLC systems, and able to support both troubleshooting and project execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PLC programming modifications and troubleshooting of control systems
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities for electrical and instrumentation systems
• Carry out root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and process issues
• Involve in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Support process modification and improvement projects
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure plant reliability and uptime
• Interpret and work based on P&ID drawings and engineering documentation

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline
• Strong experience in PLC systems and industrial automation
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings
• Hands-on experience in plant maintenance or process industry environment
• Familiar with troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
