Job Summary
Drive sales growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical presentations for M&E products. Manage project follow-ups, quotations, and site meetings to support business development.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers in mechanical and electrical (M&E) product sectors to support repeat sales and customer satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business leads to expand market presence and increase revenue
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Deliver product and technical presentations or demonstrations to consultants, architects, and contractors to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Manage sales and marketing activities including project follow-up, preparation of quotes, project submissions, site meetings, and collection of payments
- Interpret technical drawings and utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare sales documents and reports
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma qualification in any engineering field
- Minimum 2 years of technical or engineering sales experience, preferably in building M&E products
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to engage with diverse stakeholders in the building industry including architects and developers
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems to enhance technical sales effectiveness
- Proficiency in Chinese language to facilitate communication with clients and suppliers from China
- Candidates with higher experience may be considered for senior roles
