Responsibilities
- Designing and programming software for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Involves PC-based programming, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining legacy code.
- Designing and writing software for automation control, motion controllers, and vision systems.
- Reviewing, debugging, and improving existing legacy code.
- Diagnosing and fixing software or system issues on deployed, installed equipment.
- Liaising with customers to gather requirements and create technical specifications.
- Writing user manuals and technical reports outlining software functionality.
Requirement
- Min Diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline
- Min 2 years of working experience in automation industry
- Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)
- Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)
- Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)
- Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
