Our client is a leading international hospitality company. They are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join their hospitality team. As the first point of contact for many guests, you will play a key role in creating a positive booking experience, converting enquiries into reservations, and ensuring every guest's stay begins with exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Reservations & Booking Management

  • Manage room reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Process bookings accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest requirements are captured correctly.
  • Assist guests with room options, rates, packages, and special requests.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and update booking information within hotel systems.

Guest Communication & Service Excellence

  • Deliver professional, friendly, and timely responses to guest enquiries.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and policies.
  • Build rapport with guests and create confidence throughout the reservation journey.
  • Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests with care and attention to detail.

Revenue Generation & Sales Support

  • Maximise room revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Promote hotel packages, room upgrades, and special offers to prospective guests.
  • Follow up on enquiries and potential leads to increase booking conversions.
  • Support the achievement of occupancy and revenue targets through effective reservation management.

Administration & System Management

  • Ensure all reservation data is accurately entered and maintained in the booking system.
  • Monitor room availability and assist with inventory management when required.
  • Maintain proper documentation and reservation records.
  • Prepare reports and support administrative duties related to reservations operations.

Team Collaboration & Brand Representation

  • Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain consistency with the hotel's service standards and brand values.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the reservations function.
  • Represent the hotel professionally in all guest interactions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in reservations, customer service, hospitality, or call centre operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent telephone and email etiquette.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using reservation systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-oriented approach with confidence in promoting hotel products and services.
  • Hospitality qualifications or related experience will be an advantage.
