Service Validation & Testing Engineer (Linux & Automation)

Role Scope

Ensure operating systems, patches, and platform services are fully validated, secure, and production-ready through automated and standardized testing. Drive reliable validation processes across enterprise environments while collaborating with engineering and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate Linux OS builds, patches, and platform services for functionality and security
• Execute automated and manual testing (functional, regression, integration)
• Develop and maintain automation using Python and Ansible
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution
• Maintain test evidence, reports, and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and security teams

Requirements

• Strong experience in Linux (RHEL) administration and OS validation
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Bash scripting
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, automation, and Agile practices
• Experience with cloud/virtualization and enterprise environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
