Responsibilities
- Conduct research on international logistics and regulatory requirements for healthcare shipments, including life sciences and clinical trial materials.
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting healthcare logistics and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide practical compliance guidance to internal teams regarding cross-border shipment requirements across various regions.
- Assist in planning shipments by identifying regulatory requirements, documentation needs, and potential compliance risks.
- Troubleshoot complex international shipments, addressing customs clearance, documentation issues, and country-specific regulatory challenges.
- Maintain and update compliance guidelines, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge resources.
- Support internal compliance reviews, process improvements, and risk assessment activities related to regulated shipments.
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to ensure efficient and compliant execution of shipments.
- Document all shipment-related guidance and records for internal reference and audit purposes.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, International Trade, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trade compliance, or supply chain operations, preferably in healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and cross-border logistics.
- Experience with regulated shipments such as medical devices or clinical trial materials is advantageous.
- Proficient in conducting regulatory research and translating findings into actionable guidance for operational teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a capability to work within regional and global teams.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with external partners, agents, and regulatory service providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
