Architectural Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Architectural Engineer to join our project delivery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating architectural design and documentation across multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring seamless integration between architectural intent and engineering requirements throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural design documentation across structural, civil, MEP, geotechnical, and systems disciplines to ensure full interdisciplinary alignment at all project stages.

• Identify, log, and resolve design clashes and coordination conflicts through structured RFI processes, coordination meetings, and BIM-based clash detection reviews.

• Utilise BIM platforms (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360, or equivalent) to manage model coordination and facilitate multidisciplinary design reviews.

• Chair and attend interdisciplinary coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives; prepare meeting minutes and drive action items to closure.

• Ensure architectural drawings and specifications remain consistent with structural and civil design parameters throughout design and construction stages.

• Manage architectural submissions and approval processes in compliance with LTA requirements, standards, and guidelines.

• Coordinate with LTA and relevant authorities on design reviews, site inspections, and approval sign-offs throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure all architectural deliverables conform to LTA Technical Specifications, Architectural Design Criteria, and applicable Singapore building codes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years' working experience in architectural coordination within a main contractor, civil engineering firm, or construction consultancy.

• Experience on LTA projects (e.g., MRT, LRT, bus interchanges, road and tunnel infrastructure, or stations) is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage.

• Proven track record coordinating across multidisciplinary teams spanning structural, civil, and MEP disciplines on active construction projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; working knowledge of BIM coordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or equivalent.

• Solid understanding of architectural detailing, building materials, construction methodologies, and temporary works considerations within a civil engineering context.

• Familiarity with Singapore building codes, LTA standards, BCA requirements, FSSD regulations, and authority submission processes.
