Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading multinational organisation to appoint a Strategic Account Director, APAC responsible for driving strategic growth across a portfolio of key multinational customers throughout Asia Pacific.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a commercially driven professional with extensive experience managing complex regional accounts, leading strategic negotiations, and delivering sustainable business growth across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy and business growth agenda for a portfolio of strategic multinational customers across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Drive profitable revenue expansion by identifying new market opportunities, strengthening customer partnerships, and developing tailored commercial solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, building long-term relationships and influencing key business decisions across multiple markets.
  • Lead high-value commercial discussions and negotiations, balancing customer expectations with sustainable business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with regional leadership teams and cross-functional stakeholders to align customer strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Champion a value-driven sales approach, ensuring strong commercial discipline, effective account planning, and long-term customer retention.
  • Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and customer developments to proactively identify growth opportunities and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Contribute to the overall commercial direction of the region, supporting strategic initiatives and helping shape future business priorities.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of commercial, sales, or strategic account management experience within a multinational environment
  • Proven success managing regional or global key accounts across Asia Pacific
  • Strong experience in industries such as packaging, industrial manufacturing, chemicals, materials, ingredients, or other B2B sectors
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex negotiations and driving profitable growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pricing, margins, and business performance
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
