System Engineer (Windows / Linux / Network)

Salary Range: $4500 to $6500 + AWS + VB

Working location: North-east
Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
Configure, deploy and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
Perform system administration, troubleshooting and maintenance support
Setup and configure network devices, firewalls and switches
Implement system and cybersecurity hardening for servers and operating systems
Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) activities
Assist in cybersecurity risk assessments and security compliance activities
Support project implementation, testing and commissioning works
Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables
Work closely with project teams to ensure successful system deployment
Job Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Experience in Windows and/or Linux administration
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switches and firewalls
Familiar with cybersecurity hardening methodologies and best practices
Experience in vulnerability assessment, security hardening or system security is advantageous
Experience with system integration, infrastructure projects or critical systems is advantageous
CCNA, Security+, CISSP or related certifications will be an advantage
