Patient Care Assistant (Daycare)

Join a dedicated team as a Patient Care Assistant, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients. Play a vital role in delivering compassionate care while assisting with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patient care.
- Support patients with self-care needs, including mobility assistance and hygiene maintenance.
- Measure and record vital signs such as weight, temperature, and blood pressure as needed.
- Assist with meal orders, serving food and drinks, and feeding patients when necessary.
- Oversee the food pantry, ensuring proper storage and quality of food items.
- Implement infection control protocols, including hand hygiene and waste disposal practices.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
- Report any patient observations or occurrences to the supervising nurse promptly.
- Uphold high housekeeping standards and maintain confidentiality in patient care matters.
- Remain informed of industry guidelines and acquire new skills as necessary.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of GCE N Level or Certificate in Health Care Assistant or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar patient care role.
- Strong passion for serving patients with consideration and courtesy.
- High sense of responsibility for safety and care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
