Maintain full set of accounts, including General Ledger, AP, and AR
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and manage month-end closing
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Record and monitor vessel-related income and expenses (e.g., charter hire, bunkers, port charges)
Track time charter revenue and voyage-related costs
Support vessel budgeting and monitor financial performance
Analyze variances and identify cost-saving opportunities
Issue invoices to charterers and clients and manage billing accuracy
Follow up on outstanding receivables and manage collections
Process vendor invoices and payments to ship managers, agents, and suppliers
Handle hire statements, off-hire calculations, and settlements
Perform additional ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned

2–5 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including double-entry and financial statements
Experience in shipping, maritime, logistics, or commodity trading industries is preferred
Familiarity with vessel accounting or shipping-related transactions is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
