Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in carrying out therapy programs for clients.
- Support clients with therapy exercises, mobility, lifting, and transfers when needed.
- Monitor clients' condition and report any concerns or changes.
- Record and document therapy sessions accurately.
- Ensure rehabilitation equipment is used safely and properly maintained.
- Report faulty equipment to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain a safe environment for therapy activities.
- Encourage clients to participate in centre programs and activities.
- Assist with centre events, client transportation, and music therapy sessions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Secondary School education, WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services, NITEC in Therapy Services, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- BCLS + AED certification preferred
