Education Consultant, Marketing and Recruitment

The Education Consultant (Marketing & Recruitment) is responsible for driving student enrollment growth through effective student recruitment, educational advisory services, outreach initiatives, and relationship management. The role serves as a key point of contact for prospective students and parents, providing professional guidance on academic pathways, admissions requirements, and career opportunities.

In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Education Consultant contributes to market intelligence, partnership engagement, and marketing initiatives that strengthen the school's brand presence and support sustainable enrollment growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Recruitment & Admissions

  • Achieve individual and departmental student recruitment and enrolment targets.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries received through various channels, including website, social media, email, phone, agents, and partners.
  • Provide professional programme counselling and educational guidance to prospective students and parents.
  • Recommend suitable study pathways based on students’ academic background, interests, and career aspirations.
  • Conduct pre-enrolment consultations in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process and ensure timely collection of required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update lead information in the CRM system.
  • Monitor and manage prospective student pipelines to improve conversion rates.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment performance and student enquiries.

Marketing & Student Engagement

  • Support the execution of recruitment and marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in open houses, education fairs, workshops, information sessions, school visits, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional activities, lead generation initiatives, and student engagement programmes.
  • Support content gathering by sharing student success stories, testimonials, and market feedback.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, alumni, schools, education agents, and industry partners.

Market Research & Intelligence

  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitor trends in higher education, creative industries, and student recruitment.
  • Gather market intelligence on industry developments, government initiatives, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support recruitment and marketing strategies.
  • Collect feedback from prospective students and stakeholders to improve programmes and services.
  • Compliance & Administration
  • Ensure admissions processes comply with institutional policies and EduTrust requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Support internal audits, reporting requirements, and student administration processes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, Media, Arts Management, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor's Degree holders are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, education consulting, sales, customer service, marketing, or related fields
  • Experience in the higher education, training, creative industries, or international education sectors is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Singapore’s Private Education sector and EduTrust requirements will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
  • Willingness to participate in local and overseas recruitment activities when required

Benefits and Incentives

  • Basic salary of $3,500 to $4,000 a month
  • Commission: 4%
