Job Overview:
Coordinate and oversee site operations for DfMA Prefab MEP projects, ensuring the efficient execution of design, production, and installation processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Coordinate site operations for Prefab MEP projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules and standards.
- Supervise the progress of fabrication, assembly, and installation activities on-site.
- Ensure timely delivery of prefabricated components for on-site assembly.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor work practices and resolve issues to maintain high standards of work.
- Collaborate with QAQC teams to ensure proper documentation and certification for on-site activities.
Team Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate activities across different teams (design, production, installation).
- Serve as the point of contact between site teams and project managers.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and address any operational challenges.
Resource & Logistics Management
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources (materials, equipment, labor) to keep operations on track.
- Oversee logistics for delivery, handling, and storage of prefabricated components.
Qualifications & Experience:
NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or related fields.
BCSS certification.
1-3 years of experience in coordinating site operations, preferably in MEP or Prefab MEP projects.
Knowledge of DfMA processes and practices.
Familiarity with BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage on-site operations and resources effectively.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to work 5.5 days per week.
