QA Executive (FSSC 22000, Halal)

Responsibilities

1. Compliance & Export Documentation

• Prepare and verify export documents (Health Certs, COAs, Product Specs) and ensure shipments meet global regulatory standards.
• Manage and maintain Halal documentation and folders to ensure full compliance with MUIS requirements.

2. Food Safety Management (FSSC 22000)

• Support the implementation and maintenance of FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 systems.
• Update and maintain QA documentation, including SOPs, traceability records, and food safety manuals. Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and lead non-conformance/CAPA investigations.

3. Operational Quality Control

• Perform in-line quality checks, monitor CCP/OPRP requirements, and conduct raw material/finished product release.
• Oversee sensory, chemical, and microbiological testing; liaise with external labs and monitor quality trends.
• Manage hand/equipment swabbing programs and monitor environmental hygiene trends.

4. Site & Equipment Maintenance

• Coordinate with vendors for Pest Control and manage corrective actions.
• Oversee in-house and external equipment calibration and servicing schedules.

5. Training & Audit Support

• Lead and facilitate both internal and external audits (SFA, MUIS, FSSC 22000), ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Provide training to production and QC teams on GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety standards.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field of study.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience within a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Must complete Food Safety Course Level 4 (formerly Level 3) and Halal Control Assurance (HCA) course.
