Cafe Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage café operations in accordance with established standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless daily performance and swift resolution of issues.

• Maintain hands-on involvement during service times to support front-of-house operations and enhance customer service.

• Drive business performance by monitoring daily sales, labor, and operational expenses, while analyzing performance trends and implementing strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.

• Ensure beverage and food preparation standards are upheld, maintaining consistency in quality, presentation, and service speed for an exceptional customer experience.

• Manage workforce planning and scheduling, optimizing staffing levels and team productivity during peak periods.

• Apply technical knowledge of coffee equipment to assist with troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance, minimizing operational downtime.

• Cultivate and lead a high-performing team through coaching, fostering a culture of growth, and ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in café, coffeehouse, or food and beverage operations.

• Strong customer service orientation with an enthusiastic and people-centric approach.

• Excellent operational, communication, and team management skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.

• Hands-on knowledge of coffee equipment operation, with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

• Positive leadership qualities with the ability to mentor teams, encourage collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
