Customer Quality Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Quality Engineer to drive product quality management from the customer’s perspective, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal quality processes. This role offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to product excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison, ensuring customer quality requirements are met effectively.

• Collaborate with process engineers to address quality-related issues and develop corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct investigations and failure analyses, including external laboratory testing, and prepare 8D reports for customer complaints.

• Oversee internal compliance audits of business processes and the quality management system.

• Establish and implement a robust in-house quality monitoring system.

• Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing procedures and processes.

• Develop and implement quality plans for new products, materials, and processes.

• Lead both preventive and corrective action initiatives related to customer concerns.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A Diploma in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.

• Strong knowledge of statistical problem-solving methodologies, including FMEA, DOE, and SPC.

• Familiarity with various statistical methods and quality management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
