Mechanical Engineering Technician

Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Engineering Technician, where you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of plant equipment through proactive maintenance and technical expertise. Your skills will contribute significantly to minimizing downtime and enhancing reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on all plant equipment according to established guidelines.

• Perform inspections and implement corrective actions on equipment as necessary.

• Update and maintain preventive maintenance records, including history card checklists.

• Document daily job activities in the logbook.

• Identify and resolve problems effectively to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.

• Overhaul and maintain various equipment, including fans, blowers, pumps, and motors.

• Install new equipment and perform inspections to ensure reliable operation.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a process plant environment.

• Strong practical and technical skills essential for effective performance in the role.
