Merchant Assessment Officer (3-6 months contract)

Join a dynamic team focused on optimizing merchant assessments while ensuring compliance and risk management. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily business-as-usual (BAU) assessments and periodic reviews of new and existing merchant profiles related to AML/KYC and credit risk assessments within service level agreements (SLA).

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders during the merchant onboarding process.

• Monitor alerts as part of ongoing AML/KYC notifications.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Merchant Assessment team.

• Maintain updated status on tracking systems.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE A Level or equivalent qualification.

• Relevant work experience in AML/KYC processing and risk assessment is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines.

• Collaborative team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel.
