Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits (1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Support the execution of annual salary reviews, bonus allocations, promotions, and market benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, insurance, leave, and wellness initiatives to ensure comprehensive coverage and employee satisfaction
- Conduct detailed compensation analyses to recommend salary positioning and maintain internal equity across roles
- Assist in job evaluation, job grading, and organizational structure reviews to align roles with business needs
- Ensure consistent implementation of compensation and benefits policies in compliance with company guidelines
HR Analytics & Workforce Planning
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics, manpower reports, compensation data, and workforce trends to inform strategic decisions
- Support annual headcount planning, budgeting, and personnel cost forecasting to optimize workforce costs
- Collaborate with Finance to deliver accurate manpower cost reporting and budget reviews
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data within HR information systems to support reliable reporting
HR Policies & Projects
- Support the rollout and communication of HR policies and guidelines to ensure organizational alignment
- Provide clear guidance to managers and employees on compensation, benefits, and HR-related queries to facilitate informed decision-making
- Participate in HR digitalization, process improvement, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery
- Contribute to HR projects focused on workforce planning, rewards, organizational effectiveness, and talent retention to support business growth
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR experience with exposure to Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Rewards, or HR Analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools for data analysis and reporting
- Experience supporting salary reviews, benefits administration, budgeting, and compensation analysis
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience within shipping, maritime, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or other multinational operational environments
