Director of Global Banking Partnerships

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Partnership Development

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Banking Partnerships department.
  • Expand and maintain stable relationships with domestic and international banks, payment institutions, card schemes, and other financial partners.
  • Drive the implementation of business collaborations between the company and financial institutions.

2. Business Growth & Innovation

  • Identify new collaboration opportunities and innovate partnership models to increase the company’s market share and brand influence through banking channels.

3. Market Intelligence & Strategy Adaptation

  • Monitor industry policies and market trends, adjust partnership strategies in a timely manner, and work with partners to drive product iteration, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvements to stay competitive.

4. Internal Coordination & Project Execution

  • Coordinate internal resources to design and execute partnership projects, ensuring product improvements, cost efficiency, and process optimization are delivered effectively.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Stay updated on partner policy changes and risk appetite. Ensure all collaborations comply with financial regulatory requirements and mitigate business risks.

6. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Build, lead, and develop the banking partnerships team. Implement performance management mechanisms to enhance team professionalism and execution.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and continuously improve partnership processes.

7. Overseas Entity Support

  • Manage channel development needs for overseas local entities. Coordinate business requirements with headquarters and allocate resources to support the growth of overseas operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in banking, payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing banking partnerships and commercial relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, correspondent banking, and payment solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Established network within the banking and financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
