Business Development Manager (Packaging Manufacturer)

Our client is a Global Provider of integrated value chain management solutions. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Business Development Manager (Printing, Packaging, Publishing)to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target industries and markets.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue, profitability, and business growth targets.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close new business opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and execute follow-up strategies to maximize account growth.

Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customer enquiries, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and fulfilment of client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to enhance service offerings and improve customer experience.

Market Development & Strategic Planning

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with operations and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and service delivery.
  • Communicate customer expectations effectively to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing market intelligence and customer feedback with the wider business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new customers and growing key client accounts.
