Application Engineer (Automated Test Equipment)

We’re looking for experienced Application Engineers who want to do more than just development — engineers who want to own solutions end-to-end and see them deployed in real production environments.

In this role, you will design, build, and deliver advanced test solutions across ABI, SLT, and ATE platforms, working directly with global customers and cross-functional engineering teams.

What you'll be driving

• Development of high-performance semiconductor test solutions
• Application board design, validation, and system integration
• Test program development and optimization
• End-to-end delivery from requirements → solution → deployment → sustainment

What you'll do

Build & Deliver Solutions

• Design and develop application solutions for ABI, SLT, and ATE platforms
• Develop, debug, and optimize test programs for real production use
• Manage application board design, assembly, and validation

Engage Customers & Define Solutions

• Work with customers to understand complex technical requirements
• Translate requirements into scalable and practical engineering solutions
• Support solution scoping, costing, and quotation activities

Drive Integration & Deployment

• Lead solution validation, customer acceptance, and production roll-out
• Ensure smooth transition from engineering to manufacturing
• Partner with global teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

Sustain & Improve Systems

• Provide sustaining engineering support for deployed solutions
• Troubleshoot issues in live production environments
• Drive improvements based on real-world data and feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• Min 5 years of experience in ATE, semiconductor test, or application engineering
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics and test systems
• Experience in test program development and application validation
• Comfortable working across teams and engaging customers globally
• Exposure to ABI, SLT, or semiconductor test environments is a strong advantage
