Network Engineer L2

JobSummary:

We areseeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operationalmanagement, administration, and support. The engineer will handle networktroubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and change management whileensuring network reliability and performance.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers).
• Perform firmware/software upgrades, patching, and vulnerability fixes.
• Configure VLANs, firewall rules, DNS entries, proxy whitelisting, and other network parameters.
• Conduct network backups, recovery, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Liaise with ISPs and service providers for operational issues.
• Support IoT and smart devices (CCTV, Smart TV, TouchWall panels, lighting controls).
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, topologies, configurations).
• Manage network change requests with proper planning, testing, and minimal user disruption.
• Analyze network performance and recommend improvements.

RequiredQualifications & Experience:

• CCNA or CCNP certified (Active certification)
• experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco wireless APs and controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 1–3 network issues.
• Experience with network management tools and packet sniffers (e.g., Wireshark).
• Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures.
