Job Summary

We are seeking a driven 360-degree Legal Recruitment Consultant to manage the full recruitment cycle, from winning clients to placing top legal talent, contributing to business growth and market insights in a specialist legal recruitment firm.

Responsibilities

  • Win and manage retained and contingency client mandates by advising on market trends, hiring strategies, and candidate fit to nurture long-term relationships and generate repeat business
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates using headhunting, referrals, and professional networks to guide them from initial contact through offer acceptance and post-placement follow-up
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contract terms, run job advertisements, maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records, and contribute to market insights such as salary guides and blogs
  • Communicate effectively with clients and candidates to manage expectations and deliver recruitment solutions aligned with business needs
  • Utilize technology platforms including LinkedIn, job boards, and ATS to enhance sourcing and candidate management efficiency
  • Demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a results-driven approach to meet recruitment targets and support business growth

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of recruitment experience, preferably in legal recruitment; experience in professional services such as accounting, banking, or executive search is also valued
  • Bachelor’s degree; a law degree is an advantage
  • Knowledge of legal practice areas such as corporate, litigation, and real estate is beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
