Retail Design & Project Executive (AutoCADlopment)

Our client is a well-established player in the retail industry, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong exposure to airport and travel retail projects. They are seeking a hands-on and independent Project Executive to support store design, rollout, and execution of retail spaces across multiple brands.
This role is ideal for someone with strong retail fit-out experience, excellent AutoCAD skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end coordination across stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop retail store design packages from concept stage through detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Produce and issue CAD-based vendor and construction packages to brand partners, ensuring alignment with internal standards and site requirements
- Conduct site feasibility checks and support design development based on actual site conditions and operational constraints
- Coordinate with internal teams (Merchandising, Operations, IT, and Project Management) and external stakeholders to define project scope and execution requirements
- Ensure all store layouts comply with landlord requirements, authority regulations, and internal design guidelines
- Support retail event and store launch execution, including coordination of fit-out, installation, and vendor management activities
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to support fabrication, installation, and on-site execution of retail counters and stores
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals to ensure smooth project execution timelines
- Monitor project progress, ensuring delivery within timeline, quality standards, and approved budgets
- Provide design and operational support for retail counters and in-store promotional/event setups
- Support ad-hoc project tasks as assigned by senior management
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail store planning, interior fit-out, or project coordination (retail industry preferred)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including technical drawings and full vendor package preparation
- Experience in retail fit-out, store rollout, or event/store opening execution is highly preferred
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and execution mindset
