• Adhere to the sanction check requirements and maintain proper, accurate and complete records of the checks made.
• Assist the Business Divisions in ensuring all required sanction checks are conducted with no breaches in the branch’s policies and service standards.
• Support Director RMC in control owner of sanction policies and effective implementation.
• Support Director RMC in undertaking regular reviews of sanction procedures and recommend/implement modification where appropriate to ensure that any business risks are mitigated to the maximum extent possible.
• Support Director RMC in inculcating strong risk culture within the Singapore operations.
• Support Director RMC in ensuring the branch keeps up with sanction regulatory updates and implementation.
• Support in ad-hoc projects/review work assigned.
• Maintain an environment of ‘no surprises’, open communication and transparency.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance and risk management frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and effective management of operational and business risks within the general insurance business.
