Key Responsibilities
As a Paralegal in the Assets and Structured Finance team, you will support partners and lawyers across aviation and maritime matters. Your role will include a mix of drafting, transactional support, client interaction, and file management, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and amending legal agreements and transaction documents
- Supporting transaction closings (checklists, document execution, CP/CS management)
- Providing post-closing support (document bibles, distribution, document management)
- Managing transaction timelines and liaising with relevant parties
- Conducting legal research, due diligence, and maintaining precedents
- Promoting best practice sharing and collaboration across teams and clients
- Enhancing internal processes to drive efficiency
- Monitoring and reporting on regulatory and industry developments
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Bachelor of Laws or Diploma in Legal Studies
- 1–2 years’ experience in a legal/paralegal or transactional finance role (asset finance experience advantageous)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- A proactive, positive and flexible approach to work
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, and accountability
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Fluency in English and business-level Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service
- A willingness to learn, problem-solve, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture
