Key Responsibilities

As a Paralegal in the Assets and Structured Finance team, you will support partners and lawyers across aviation and maritime matters. Your role will include a mix of drafting, transactional support, client interaction, and file management, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing and amending legal agreements and transaction documents
  • Supporting transaction closings (checklists, document execution, CP/CS management)
  • Providing post-closing support (document bibles, distribution, document management)
  • Managing transaction timelines and liaising with relevant parties
  • Conducting legal research, due diligence, and maintaining precedents
  • Promoting best practice sharing and collaboration across teams and clients
  • Enhancing internal processes to drive efficiency
  • Monitoring and reporting on regulatory and industry developments

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor of Laws or Diploma in Legal Studies
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a legal/paralegal or transactional finance role (asset finance experience advantageous)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • A proactive, positive and flexible approach to work
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and accountability
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Fluency in English and business-level Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service
  • A willingness to learn, problem-solve, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture
