Job Summary

Chief APAC is expanding in the APAC region and seeks a Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager to drive lubricant and fuel additive sales. You will build customer relationships, generate leads, close deals, and contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new sales leads through networking, cold-calling, cold-knocking, and other sales activities to expand customer base
  • Meet with new and existing customers to assess their needs and deliver tailored sales presentations in workshops and retail spaces
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving post-sales inquiries
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare weekly sales progress reports to track performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Ensure prompt collection of payments from customers to maintain healthy cash flow
  • Execute ad-hoc projects assigned by management to support business objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry or related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build rapport to influence customer decisions effectively
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and sales targets efficiently
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with the local automotive market and industry trends is desirable
  • Possession of a valid driving license is preferred
