Senior Executive/Manager/Assistant Director, StrategicPlanning and Policy
Shaping Singapore’s Future as a Global Hub for Intangible Assets (IA) andIntellectual Property (IP)
As a member of the Strategic Planning and Policy team, youwill play a key role in shaping Singapore’s national plans to build the countryas a global hub for intangible assets (IA) and intellectual property (IP). Youwill contribute directly to the development and implementation of IP-relatedpolicies and initiatives that support creators, innovators, and enterprises inunlocking the value of their IA and IP for business growth. In this role, you will also collaborate withlocal and international stakeholders, including government agencies, IPpractitioners and enterprises, to build a vibrant IA/IP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Shape organisational direction and outcomes
Work with senior management anddepartments to support corporate planning functions, including through data andeconomic analyses.
2. Stakeholder management
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including other public agencies. Support the preparation of strategic updates to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Policy formation and reviews
Support policy formulation and reviews through data analysis, industry consultations and horizon scanning. Help shape initiatives to help enterprises use their intangible assets and IP for growth.
4. Operational support
Support the department in a variety of tasks, including secretariatfunctions, data visualisation, event organisation and preparation ofreports.
What We’re Looking For:
- Interest in innovation, IP and public policy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams and agencies.
- Experience in corporate planning, consulting or analytical roles would be advantageous.
