Position: Full-Time Chinese Language Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective Chinese Language lessons for students from Primary 1 to Primary 6
• Deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE Chinese Language syllabus and learning objectives
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials, and assessment resources
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide personalized support to help them achieve their learning goals
• Mark assignments, classwork, tests, and examinations in a timely and professional manner
• Provide regular feedback and progress updates to parents
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and student-centered learning environment
• Adapt teaching strategies to cater to students of varying learning abilities
• Support students in composition writing, oral communication, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and examination preparation
• Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and continuous improvement of teaching materials
• Assist in the planning and execution of holiday programmes, enrichment workshops, and centre events
• Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as assigned by the Centre Management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language, Education, Teaching, or a related discipline
• Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin
• Passionate about teaching and working with children
• Prior teaching experience in schools, tuition centres, or enrichment centres is preferred
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Chinese Language syllabus is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, patient, proactive, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally

Working Schedule

5-Day Work Week

• Working days scheduled between Tuesday and Sunday
• Two Rest Days Per Week
• Weekend teaching is required

Working Hours

Weekdays: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $2,500 – $3,200 per month

(Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and teaching capabilities.)
