Cloud Support Engineer (AWS)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise production and non-production environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability while driving continuous improvements.
• Manage incidents, problems, and change activities, working with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and meet SLA commitments.
• Maintain operational documentation, reports, and governance processes to support audits, compliance, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead day-to-day operations and support teams, ensuring effective 24/7 service delivery and operational excellence through automation and process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with relevant experience in IT Operations and Cloud engineering
• Min. 2 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations Support or IT Application support.
• Experience with ITSM processes and tools, application/infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and security access controls.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, scripting), and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
