Care Concierge (Cook - F&B)

Join a dedicated team as a Care Concierge in Food & Beverage, where you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' dining experiences while adhering to dietary requirements. Contribute positively to overall well-being through exemplary meal preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' individual dietary needs, ensuring compliance with prescribed diets and food texture standards.

• Prepare and cook balanced meals in alignment with recommendations from Dietitians.

• Engage with residents to understand their food preferences and fulfill their requests.

• Assist residents during dining, providing support with feeding when necessary.

• Conduct basic physiological monitoring of residents as assigned.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

• Supervise food preparation and storage, ensuring safe handling practices are maintained.

• Provide guidance on food-related matters, promoting best practices among the team.

• Participate in quality assurance audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to food service operations.

Requirements

• Minimum education level of Secondary School, ITE NITEC, or GCE 'N' Level.

• WSQ Food Safety Certification (or equivalent) is mandatory; WSQ Diploma in Food Services (Culinary Arts) is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in the food and beverage, hospitality, or culinary sector.

• Basic computer literacy and skills in IT applications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Comprehensive understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Flexibility to work a 4-day work week, including weekends and public holidays, with a willingness to undertake rotating shifts.

• Ability to comply with PPE requirements during resident interactions and maintain professional appearance standards at all times.
