Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Supervise and develop teams of Engineers and Technical Officers, ensuring efficient coordination with stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality procedures, safety requirements, and operational protocols.

• Manage project activities and summarize manpower claims to address any potential resource or timeline issues.

• Schedule and conduct meetings with stakeholders to clarify project scope and obtain necessary approvals.

• Coordinate document clearance and site works with internal stakeholders throughout all project phases.

• Oversee compliance of contract works with the approving authority under relevant management frameworks.

• Communicate approved methodologies and risk assessments to team members for effective supervision.

• Ensure contractors provide necessary documentation for contract closure and manage final handover processes.

• Facilitate monitoring and coordination of contractor submissions to ensure project adherence to standards.

• Handle site activities including inspections, testing, and maintenance, ensuring all safety documentation is in place.

• Maintain strong working relationships with key clients and stakeholders while overseeing team productivity and welfare.

Requirements

• Degree in a rail engineering-related discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in the same field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the railway industry.

• Proven ability to lead teams towards achieving departmental goals.

• Strong planning and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and a resourceful, self-motivated attitude geared towards achieving technical excellence.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results.
