We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage tendering, procurement, and cost estimation for our projects. Join us to optimize project efficiency while ensuring compliance and collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scope requirements and participate in the procurement process, including RFQ preparation.
  • Source materials and equipment that meet project specifications and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and adherence to project standards.
  • Establish technical bid evaluations and collaborate with suppliers/vendors to identify any discrepancies.
  • Compile and review required technical data for project submissions.
  • Prepare project execution plans, method statements, and other documentation as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering to reduce project costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Assess potential risks related to costs and contracts, developing strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with MEP construction regulations and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects based on specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct material and labor quantity take-offs for installations and collaborate with teams for accuracy.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate regular cost reports to keep stakeholders informed about project financial statuses and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, participating in meetings to support project success.
  • Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects and complete other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in industrial, commercial, or data-centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and commitment.
