Information Technology Consultant

The project is to provide production support and to manage BAU operations. To ensure availability, stability, security, and cost efficiency of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP), in a hybrid infrastructure environment. To help the application teams, platform engineering team, etc., in BAU operations, resolve incidents, and continuously improve cloud operations.

• Cloud Operations & Day-to-Day Management
• Manage and support daily operations of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and/or GCP
• Execute provisioning, configuration changes, and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar
• Perform routine health checks, patching coordination, and environment validation
• Monitoring, Incident & Reliability Management
• Monitor systems using tools such as Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
• Perform first-line and second-line incident response, including: Troubleshooting production issues, Service restoration and escalation
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and track preventive actions
• Track and improve service reliability metrics (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs)
• Monitor cloud usage and control cloud spend
• Right-size resources and recommend cost optimization measures
• Analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Implement and maintain: IAM policies and access controls, Key-management, and Security of Cloud infra.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements
• Support audit requests, evidence gathering, and remediation tracking

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience in infrastructure, cloud, or operations
• Hands-on experience in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience managing production environments (24x7 operations)
• Strong exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.)
• Knowledge in Container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems
