Audio Visual – Lighting Technician

Overseas Family School is looking for an Audio Visual Technician who’s passionate about live events and hands-on with equipment. This role requires technical expertise in lighting equipment, creativity in design, and attention to detail to ensure the visual quality of the live events.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Setup programmes and operates lighting consoles to create visual effects for school live events, eg. musicals, performing arts concerts and graduations.
• Operate Audio Visual systems such as audio console and projectors during live events, ensuring seamless audio and video performance.
• Setup AV equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, projectors, connecting wires and cables for school events.
• Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting during live events.
• Work closely with event coordinators to deliver technical solutions and occasional evenings overtime based on event schedules.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of lighting console preferably ChamSys system.
• Basic knowledge of using analog & digital audio console.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the live event industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec certificate in electrical engineering, media production, or lighting & sound technology.

· 1–3 years’ experience in lighting mixing & Audio Visual for live events.
