Customer Quality Engineer

Job Scope :
- Liaise with process engineers on quality-related issues to follow-up on effective corrective and preventive actions
- Investigate, perform failure analysis (including external laboratory testing) and prepare 8Dreport for customers' complaints
- Drive internal compliance audit of company's business processes and quality management system
- Establish and implement in-house quality monitoring system
- Ensure continuous improvements in process and procedures implemented in manufacturing
- Carry out and implement appropriate quality plans for new products, materials/processes
- Drive both preventive and corrective action programmes including customer-relatedissues
- Other duties as assigned by superiors
Requirements:
- Diploma in Quality Assurance / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of statistical problem solving methodologies like FMEA, DOE and SPC
- Good knowledge of various statistical methods, quality management system and ISO standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software application
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
