Customer Quality Engineer

Job Scope :

  • Liaise with process engineers on quality-related issues to follow-up on effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Investigate, perform failure analysis (including external laboratory testing) and prepare 8Dreport for customers' complaints
  • Drive internal compliance audit of company's business processes and quality management system
  • Establish and implement in-house quality monitoring system
  • Ensure continuous improvements in process and procedures implemented in manufacturing
  • Carry out and implement appropriate quality plans for new products, materials/processes
  • Drive both preventive and corrective action programmes including customer-relatedissues
  • Other duties as assigned by superiors

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Quality Assurance / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of statistical problem solving methodologies like FMEA, DOE and SPC
  • Good knowledge of various statistical methods, quality management system and ISO standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software application
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
