Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company's strategic plans and business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment of departmental goals with overall business strategy.

Business & Commercial Management

  • Lead the company's commercial activities and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and expansion plans.
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure the company maintains a strong market presence and reputation.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor organisational performance and operational KPIs.
  • Drive productivity improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure business continuity and risk management plans are in place.

Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Monitor financial performance and profitability.
  • Ensure effective cost management and resource allocation.
  • Review financial reports and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and statutory requirements.

People Leadership

  • Provide leadership and direction to the management team.
  • Foster a high-performance and collaborative work culture.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability across the organisation.
  • Coach and mentor senior leaders to support business growth.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain high standards of corporate governance and ethical business practices.
  • Identify and mitigate organisational risks.
  • Oversee contractual, legal, and regulatory matters affecting the business.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and governance frameworks are implemented.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key representative of the company with external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with shareholders, investors, business partners, government agencies, and industry associations.
  • Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Communicate business performance, strategic initiatives, and key developments to stakeholders.
