Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Operation Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in managing the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring smooth workflow, process improvement, quality control, logistics management, and inventory management. The Assistant Operation Manager will work closely with the Operation Manager to drive operational efficiency and productivity. This is a full-time position based in Singapore, with on-site work mode required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily operational activities to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Operation Manager to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to verify compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Analyze operational data to detect trends, identify issues, and recommend actionable improvements
  • Support the development and execution of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies
  • Coordinate logistics activities including transportation, inventory management, and guidance of related operations
  • Assist in managing and supporting a team of operations staff to achieve optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and meet organizational objectives
  • Manage ad hoc assignments and projects as required to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Ability to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations management
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in process improvement, quality control, and logistics management
  • Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to derive actionable insights from operational data
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant experience in operations within a travel agency environment is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
