A Technologist is a specialised professional who works at a higher technical level than a technician but typically below engineers or scientists in terms of scope and responsibility. Technologists apply advanced technical knowledge, skills, and principles to solve complex problems, implement solutions, and optimise systems and processes. It involves more hands-on application of technical theories and methods, research, and development tasks.
